Go... Make a Difference

Let us not become weary in doing

A Moment That Could Change Your Life... And Someone Else's

By MAD21

Please take 15 minutes out of your day to watch this video. This is just one moment out of the Catalyst 2009 Conference for Compassion International. If you ever wondered if sponsoring children ever really makes a difference, listen to Jimmy Wambua's testimony. A man who was sponsored for 19 years by man named Mark.

Seriously. As much as those of you who are reading this post struggle to make ends meet for your families, you are far better off than millions of people around the world. Consider the fact that you probably have a roof over your head, clothes to wear, food to eat, a computer to work on, and you've had an education. You have choices.

Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a Compassion child. It's only $38 a month, or $456 a year. I promise. It will Make A Difference. Not only does this money provide everyday needs for that child, they also get an education, which will feed them for a life time. They have the opportunity to learn about how to make a better life for themselves and their communities, but even more importantly they will learn about who they are in Christ, and that He loves them and cares about them.

Talk with my friend Chuck (Sharing Compassion) who is a Compassionate Advocate, or go directly to the Compassion International website. There is a little girl or boy just waiting for a chance to share their lives with you. Waiting to be given a chance have a better life.

This is an excellent video from the Catalyst conference. Keep in mind it was unexpected and unrehearsed. It is an incredible offering of the proof that Compassion works in the field and does make a difference. I devote my time to this ministry because I have seen it in action and know how important that investment is. It is not the $$$ but the relationship that breaks the poverty. Blessings.
