Life's Highway

By Pat

When you travel life's highway, what kind of driver are you?

Do you curse when someone cuts in front of you? Remember-we all need leaders, so don't be afraid to take a step back and allow someone else to go ahead of you.

Does it frustrate you to get behind a slow-moving vehicle? Perhaps you should welcome the opportunity to slow down a bit and not fly through life at such a breakneck speed, forgetting to enjoy the scenery God has placed in your path.

How about traffic jams? Like most of us, they probably make you crazy, but maybe that's the perfect time to take a deep breath and have a nice, long chat with the Lord.

So don't let "road rage" control you when you're traveling through life. Just go with the flow, be considerate, take your time, and take every opportunity to talk with, walk with, and listen to God. It will make for a much more pleasant journey!

"Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land." Psalm 37:7-9
