Fingerprint Friday: Signs of Life

I have to admit... I am not a big fan of spring. It's really only because rainy, gray days start to get to me after awhile. But this year is a little different. After all the snow we have gotten in the last few months, things are really dirty. So at least at the beginning of the season, the rains will be very welcome.
The one thing I love about spring is what it brings: New Life. It's like all things made new again. The rain washes away all the dirt and grime from fall and winter to make way for new green and life full of every color of the rainbow (which spring also has a lot of...).
One sure sign that spring is coming is when you start to see the Crocus' peeking through the dirt. You know that the Daffodils are soon to follow and then the Tulips, and so on...
We have truly enjoyed this year's winter season, but I think all of us are happy to see warmer weather and lots of colors coming our way. The Crocus' are one of God's fingerprints full of the promises of what is to come.

I know what you mean. I am trying to grow tomato and pepper plants from seeds in the house so that I can plant my own seedlings in May. My tomato seeds sprouted yesterday!! I am so happy!!!
We have sooo much rain that I totally understand. I have to say that this year as I'm driving around, I'm really enjoying the beautiful colors... and appreciating the 'new beginnings' that are on the way!

We went straight from cold to rainy and skipped right past sunny :(
It's raining and thundering right now. But even that is better than the big snowstorms we've had. And the gloomy skies just make every sunny, warm day and each little flower bud that much more precious.
