Life Is Funny: Mother's Day 2010

I hope all the mom's who read our blog had a great day yesterday. It was a beautiful day on my side of the world. I started my day running a Mother's Day 5k fun run with friends before going to church with my family.

I got some terrific home-made cards and pictures from my girls, but since I've already shared how wonderful their drawings can be, I thought I would share the funniest store-bought cards I got. Aside from my youngest wishing me a "Happy Valentine's Day" all weekend, they really made me laugh.

Happy Mother's Day - Free Kitties For Everyone

Sunday was my 30th birthday. Ironically, I have chosen to put the Year of the Birthday adventures on the back burner in order to celebrate a far more important holiday. Today was all about Mother's Day in my family.

When I moved out of my parents' house several years ago, I took my cat Toby with me. According to my mother, however, I stole her kitten.
