Go... Make a Difference

Let us not become weary in doing
good, for at the proper time we will
reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The Promise Doesn't Lie

"You may be looking at what is your divine purpose, God's plan for you, and saying, "That doesn't make any sense. There's no way."  But the promise doesn’t lie.  Why? Because His word is not like ours.  His word is an extension of Him.

You know what does lie? Our circumstances, emotions, current lack, limitations… They lie to us.

Abraham faced up to each one of these that told him, "it's always been this way. Nothing will change now. How can any of this be true?” Of each of us, they press and demand ever more loudly, "HOW?" And like Abraham, our gritty, tenacious, faith-filled answer can be, "GOD."'

How Is Your Vision?

"When have you felt like God gave you a new pair of prescription glasses?

What was it like before you were able to see clearly... when you were walking in the fog of whatever brokenness or pain made you utterly myopic?

If you are waiting for veils to lift, how do you find God in the midst of that? In the midst of the miasmic muddle of life?"

"But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way,
who can’t see where they’re going.
I’ll be a personal guide to them,
   directing them through unknown country.
I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take,
make sure they don’t fall into the ditch.
These are the things I’ll be doing for them—
sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute."

There Is Healing In Letting Go

"The temptation to whine and gripe about my old supervisor was huge. I didn’t entirely resist it. But then I realized that staying stuck in that rut meant I would continue to allow him to define who I was, what I did, and how I performed. My own healing started the day I began to force myself to pray for him."

Where Does Your Security Lie?

"Children of God endure because our security lies in no man or institution of this world, but in the Prince of Peace - King of the kingdom to come - Who reigns even now in our lives.

We may not live at ease. We have something better. We may live at peace."

Trusting In Advance

"I have learned that faith means trusting in advance what will only make sense in reverse."
