Book Review: Dogku

Title: Dogku
Written By: Andrew Clements
Pictures By: Tim Bowers
Reviewed By: EM, Age 5

Dogku is a story about a cute dog. His name is Mooch. The story is written like a poem, so it rhymes a little. The dog is looking for a home. He sits at the front door of a house. And there is a mom standing there making breakfast for the kids. She opens the door and gives him some food and he gets a bath. He doesn't know if they will keep him or not. They play with him and he is happy. At the end he thinks they are taking him to the pound. But instead dad goes out the door and comes back with a new doggie bed. He was happy to find a family. Everyone should read this book.
