God's Amazing Grace

"This truth has been screaming at me the last couple of days: God's grace is amazing! What our world needs more than anything else is grace. Not more talk about grace but grace that is lived out. Gordon MacDonald put it this way: "The world can do almost anything as well as or better than the church. You need not to be a Christian to build houses, feed the hungry, or heal the sick. There is only one thing the world cannot do. It cannot offer grace." The uniqueness of Christianity (of the gospel) boils down to this one word: GRACE. Grace says God accepts us and loves us unconditionally - "as is." We don't have to earn God's acceptance or work for it. Let that sink in for a moment.
