Failure: Beginning Or End?

"Judas and Peter both failed miserably. The result of failure? Judas: Suicide. Peter: Leads a revival 50 days later of which we are still feeling the effects. Failure can either be the END or the BEGINNING--but it's entirely your choice."

When we face failures, we either sink or swim, depending on how we view God. He's either big enough to love and forgive us, or we allow our imperfections will defeat us.

What a powerful punch of a post, Ginny!

I think the difference is how each man chose to see Jesus.

Judas saw Jesus as a good man he betrayed.

Peter saw Jesus as the Lord God he betrayed.

Jesus was able to save Peter because he didn't take his own life.

I think Jesus could've been able to save Judas, too. Only he never gave Jesus the chance.

It's a stark reminder for me to not give up on God, either.

Thank you so much, Bonnie. Your words go perfectly with this post.

God is faithful, even when we fail. Never forget it.
