Go... Make a Difference

Let us not become weary in doing
good, for at the proper time we will
reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The Battle is for the Word

"I know the battle is for the Word.  It’s not about me or you and us trying to be good.  We have an enemy who hates us and hates God’s Word even more.  He keeps shaking to see if we’ll let go and walk away... I choose today to hold on, press on, and stand strong.  It’s not my strength.  I have access to unlimited reserves... And when I begin to wonder how it’s all going to work out, I will look first to the forgiveness that flows in the blood of the Lamb, knowing He accomplished the impossible to bring me to Himself.  Then I will rehearse over and over the great things He has done in my life and others around me. Satan can’t harass away my testimony.  He accuses and assails, but he has already been thrown down."

One Small Note

"Remember the small things. They are never really small. They are just small in the moment. Never believe the lie that says your life is irrelevant. You matter. I matter. People halfway around the world matter. Our lives may just be small notes in the grand symphony of life, but imagine the ugly silence if those notes were removed."

Manly Men

"A manly man knows that this world is not his home and keeps his end in mind. He is ready to die, whether it be on a battlefield ten thousand miles away or a bed in the next room. And he knows that it isn’t the manner of death that defines him, but how that death is faced.

And maybe most of all, a manly man knows he will not always act like one. He knows that he is fallible and fallen, beaten and scarred. His mistakes and faults are many, and yet he owns them. He sees the darkness in his heart and yet chooses daily to stand in the light...."

You Fail Us Not

You Fail Us Not by 1000 Generations:

"Failure doesn't phase you.
Worry doesn't win.
Lost doesn't leave you afraid to start again.
Our sin doesn't shock you.
Our shame doesn't shame you at all.
Mistakes do not move you.
Terror doesn't tame.
Death doesn't doom you to life in the grave.
Our suffering doesn't scare you.
Our secrets won't surprise you at all.
At all...."
