Go... Make a Difference

Let us not become weary in doing
good, for at the proper time we will
reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The Art Of Battle

"All married couples should learn the art of battle as they should learn the art of making love. Good battle is objective and honest--never vicious or cruel. Good battle is healthy and constructive, and brings to a marriage the principle of equal partnership."

- Ann Landers (Says Truth is Stranger, 1968)

God Doesn't Always Whisper

"God doesn't always whisper. Sometimes He simply brings The Answer to mind without words, by directing attention to what's needed. Sometimes within conscience, there is certainty of what must be done...Our part is to give Him our attention, trust Him without argument, and heed Him without hesitation."

- An excerpt from The Answer written by Anne Bundy on her blog Building His Body

"Give Me Your Eyes"

This is a video put together by a man named John Thornton. He is a man who once led a 'hopeless life.' Thanks to those who cared for him, he is serving in full-time ministry at an outreach center in Florida, and creates amazing videos like this one. Please take four minutes and watch.

Fellow blogger Mike at "Mike Is Messed Up" originally posted this story. I love that he asks, "What does a hopeless cause look like? It looks like you and me."

Who can you reach out to today?

Don't Be Changed By The World

"People of character do right thing, not because they think it will change the world but because they refuse to be changed by world."

Ready and Waiting

"...I sit in limbo land, not comfortable living in the past and not sure what the future holds, yet feeling strangely encouraged. Encouraged because I am confident that my discomfort is a road sign reassuring my path; my trepidation is a herald of the extraordinary adventure that lies ahead; my anxiousness a reminder that I am fully living in the present.

And I refuse to be a hostage to my past or my future.

“And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.” (2 Corinthians 3:18, The Message)
